Alcatel D285 offers a choice of 10 ringtones on the handset, 5 classic and 5 polyphonic (with 5 sound levels and the possibility to cut the ringtone).

It's 14 minutes answering-machine is easy to use thanks to its direct access keys on the base and on the handset (Play/Stop and Delete functions). The base is also equipped with a LED to inform you of a new message at a glance.

You also have a list of the 10 last numbers dialed.

Alcatel D285 is available in a version without answering machine, in black, white, turquoise and red versions, a DUO version exists with a black and a white handset.
